We spend this Sunday afternoon at Lewisville Park which is located just about 2 miles North of Battle Ground. We usually have picnics there during summer when everything is green. Now, it has more of gold color. The day was very warm and sunny and I wish the weather could stay like this for much longer. Too much rain could be kind of depressing.
We were planing to ride bikes with Pavlo, but after falling down and crushing into each other we decided to take it the other way and have fun on swings and by the river. Anyway, here is a few picture I would like to share.
Pavlo is having fun on a swing:

Then we went by the river to through some rocks and I took a few shots of Pavlo:

This shot is very interesting. I have found a spot where going down sun was lighting ground and told Pavlo to stay there and play with leaves. He picked one big maple leaf and started looking at it. The leaf worked as a reflector and bounced some light into his face from behind:

On Wednesday Pavlo and I had a field trip from school to local farm. It was fun! It was our first field trip together and Pavlo was looking forward for it. Each kind could have a pumpkin as big as he could carry out. We were enjoying petting farm animals, playing in corn maze and hunting for pumpkin. Check out some images from that day:

I guess, it was a bit too heavy for him.

A little bit of rain couldn’t spoil all fun:

I was going to shoot a corporate event in the Forest Center and on my way there I was going through the Rose Garden. While driving I saw that beautiful view of moon raising over Mt. Hood. I immediately turned my car to a parking spot to shoot a few pictures. And here it is. The shot made my day!

Not so long ago Marina had a maternity session ordered and now they got a little baby-angel Sophia. She is so cute! It was my pleasure to come over and photograph her for their baby announcement card. Check out some of my favorite images:

I have just received a sample of my new product: the photobook. I am really excited to add it to my line of books. It is coffee table style book with thick glossy pages. The cover is totally custom designed to feature your photo and text. There is no restriction on having any specific fixed number of pages: I can put any number: 12, 24, 32, etc. The book lays flat when opened, which is a very nice feature. The sizes are 4×4, 6×6, 7.5×7.5. It is going to be a great parent book, exact copy of your main album. Check out these product shots below. Let me know if you have any questions. Have a great weekend!

It is interesting how artsy you can get with a macro lens:

Our little Michael was baptized into Christ last Sunday in St. Irene Byzantine Church in Portland. According to the Baptism ceremony the child is hold by God parents all the time. At the beginning, he is hold by his Godmother. Then he is put under water and passed to his Godfather. After the Divine Liturgy, he has to accept Holly Communion.
That day was a double holiday for us: it was our 7th anniversary. At the evening, my lovely wife and me were able to sneak out from the house to get a romantic dinner. It was good to get out and had some time for just two of us. Happy Anniversary, Honey! I love you!
Some details: the white cloth which is used to wrap a child after the ceremony and a candle for godparents to hold.

St. Irene’s glass windows are just amazing art masterpieces.

The priest is telling to put his little feet into Holy water.

Then he purred a some water on to his head.

Then he was passed to Godfather for the rest of a ceremony.
